Alden Lieberg

A Rare Treat!
The Edna Ralston Library had the distinguished honour of having President Abraham Lincoln visit on President’s Day. It was a very exciting event.  There were over thirty children who came to hear from the President and to ask him questions. Alden Lieberg graciously offered to play the role of Abraham Lincoln.
I asked students if they learned anything. “I landed he carried mail in his hat. That was my favorite part!”  Another student wad amazed, “I didn’t know he lived in a three-sided cabin.” That wouldn’t work very well in North Dakota!
A huge, heart-felt thank you to Alden for being willing to come and share the gift of out sixteenth President with it community!

Technology Toolkits

Sarah Matusz from the North Dakota State Library held a hands on technology clinic at the Edna Ralston Library on September 16th. Several people attended and had opportunity to come and take a look at the various devices she brought. A few people brought in devices that they already had. Sarah helped them to understand how to better use them.
